You probably already heard about Veganuary. It's an annual challenge run by a non profit organisation that educates and encourages people to try a plant based diet for the month of January. It's a great idea, and more people are joining their challenge every year. We created this list with 9 vegan-friendly places that are also pet friendly to help out the people of Dublin to get the challenge done and not leave the pooches at home.
Pet friendly and vegan since day one! Greenshot is located in Dublin 2; they have a lovely café where dogs are welcome indoors, and they have tables available in front of the café. Water bowls and dog treats are available too.
You can expect to find lovely coffee and mouth watering vegan treats. I also heard that their Cinnamon rolls are amazing ;)
Vegan Sandwich Co. is located in Smithfield, Dublin 7. They have a takeaway shop where you can order some of their delicious food, and you don't need to leave your pooch at home: dogs are welcome to have a seat inside with you while you're waiting for your order to get ready.
We were there with our dog Mona a while ago, and I have to say that the staff were lovely with her; although my favourite part was the food. I highly recommend you guys to try them. ;)
Located in Dublin 8 and serving deadly vegan dishes, Sova Vegan Butcher is a great place to visit with your pooch!
Hello dog owners of Sandyford! Hipkey is a vegan café and has loads of options to keep your Veganuary going! Dogs are allowed inside, they have water bowls and treats available.
KALE+COCO is a 100% plant-based cafe, all of their food is dairy-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free, and they use organic ingredients as much as possible. We stopped by a while ago for a quick takeaway coffee with our dog, and the place is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is delicious. I recommend you to check them out.
It's a Trap is a pet friendly takeaway café in Dublin 1, very close to Mountjoy Square.
We have heard great things about their food: lovely coffee, wraps, and especially the cakes! And you can bring your pup inside to order with you; the furry visitors might even get a treat while there.
